W.S.D.A. The Seadragons

In 2021 and 2022 I had the opportunity to become part of the Wageningen Student Diving Association W.S.D.A. The Seadragons. Although I never SCUBA dived before I decided to become a board member of this new (<1 year) association. This was an absolutely great decisions, because I had the chance to:

organise and set-up new committees
think about structuring the association
create a website
Organize our first diving holiday

My role as committee coördinator was focused on creating new committees and trying to collect and, if necessary, convince people to join one of these committees. Thanks to many active and involved members it was a big succes and after this first and second year, the association kept growing.

Besides these four tasks I also learned a lot about SCUBA diving and met many new people who shared the same passion for marine life. Together with others I had a great time being part of this association and we made some great dives both in the Netherlands and Croatia.
